Family, friends, and neighbors gathered for the annual pumpkin-painting event. The weather was beautiful and kids of all ages created 150 painted pumpkins. Afterwards, everyone pitched in to plant 200 tulip bulbs and to fill 20 bags of leaves and trash. Today’s the day! Parks Department workers are setting up the fencing to cordon off the construction site for Gulick’s future comfort station. The north side of the playground and the basketball courts will be closed down until construction finishes.
