We also want to let you know about some recycling opportunities in the next few weeks.
If you have any electronics to recycle (cell phones, pda’s, computers or computer parts, etc.), you can take advantage of the LES Ecology Center’s e-waste recycling program. They’ll be at Union Sq on 1/2, Bowling Green Park on 1/8, and at Tekserve on 1/15. Details about what you can bring and why are here.
If you have a christmas tree or wreath you’d like to recycle, NYC Parks & Recreation will turn them into mulch for you. You can drop off at Corlear’s Hook Park, Thompkins Sq Park, or El Jardin del Paraiso.
