Key Partners Honored as Green Community Activists

Dylan House of The Hester Street Collaborative and Kirsti Bambridge of Partnerships for Parks have been working with us for at least two years now. Both have been key in helping us connect with parks and community groups around the city and in our neighborhood and both have been key in helping us gather community input.

The Lo-Down reports that this weekend both will be recognized for their work “building green and healthy communities.”

Awards will be presented this Sunday at the festival by State Senator Daniel Squadron, Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer and Council Member Margaret Chin. The Festival will be held in Columbus Park and Bayard Street from noon to 5pm.

We extend our congratulations to Kirsti and Dylan (the left most two in the picture). We encourage everyone who can to enjoy the fun during the event–also a great kids event. It is sponsored by Asian Americans for Equality–also a Friends of Gulick Park partner that does good work in our community and in Chinatown.
