Just in time for our bicycle related events next weekend, we learn today that the city DOT has selected Gulick Park (Willet St near Delancey S) to host a bike share station, with approximately 20 bikes.
For $95/year you get access to any bike at a station for a 30 minute ride (riding longer costs by the clock) and leave it at any other station (that has space). The station locations might change depending on discussions with community boards, but you can expect the program up and running in July.
So you will be able to more easily have friends over to Gulick Park for ping pong, basketball, handball, or the playground.
