Wonderful news from the office of Borough President Scott Stringer: he’s allocated an additional $250,000 toward the capital renovation of Luther Gulick Park & Playground. We extend further thanks to Mr. Stringer for being an early and continued supporter of our neighborhood’s green space and play space. This will leave a lasting benefit to the community for years to come and we are happy to see that, in difficult budgetary times, Mr. Stringer recognizes the importance of parks for enduring neighborhood betterment. The total from his office is now $750,000. (More on funding in the next post!)
