On 16 January 2014 We are excited to announce that Luther Gulick Park will receive $2.5 Million in state grants toward the capital renovation of the park. Awarded by the Department of Transportation’s Transportation Enhancement Program, the money will pay for construction of pathways, sidewalks, lighting, bicycle parking, greenery and landscaping, which will ameliorate the affects of the Williamsburg

On 28 December 2013 If you have a christmas tree you’re ready to part with, please think about bringing it to a nearby park for mulching. The Parks Department will reuse the mulch to help maintain and beautify our city.

On 1 November 2013 Our friend Wylie Goodman at Partnerships for Parks made this short video showcasing Gulick Park users talking about how they make our park what it is and what it will be. We will probably use more People Make Parks visioning tools during our May event, too.

Beautiful weather and friendly neighbors graced Gulick Park this past Sunday. Around 200 people came out to have fun and fix up the park.
